AT-AT Colossal Miniature AT-AT Colossal Miniature
purchase this book
Though possessing an oxymoronic name, the AT-AT Colossal Pack miniature is a must-have for anyone that enjoys playing the Star Wars miniatures game. Featuring exquisite detail and scaled perfectly to work with other miniatures, the AT-AT looks great on the shelf and intimidating on the gaming table. If you're looking to defeat some Rebel Scum (or just watch your players' eyes bulge when you place this miniature on the table), check it out and add it to your collection.

Order 66 Podcast Interview with RodneyCommunity Update
Posted by Moridin on 8 April 2008 at 01:49 AM Community Update
Last night I sat down with the guys over at the Order 66 podcast for a little powwow on Saga Edition. It's more-than-double-length episode with a Q&A from fans, a lot of talk about existing and upcoming products, and a good general discussion about Star Wars Roleplaying. If you like podcasts, make sure to surf on over and download theirs. I'm a fan, and it's a great weekly podcast for Saga Edition players and Gamemasters alike.

(Fair warning, it's an Explicit podcast, so it's not safe for young ears. Listener discretion is advised.)

Posted by Moridin on 19 March 2008 at 06:22 AM Community Update
I'm going to be on the Order 66 podcast in a few weeks, and while we (WotC) are obviously doing our own podcast the guys over at Order 66 have asked me to come on the show and do a Q&A. This is a great chance for you to ask any questions you've wanted to know about but haven't felt like asking, especially non-rules questions. They have set up a thread on their forums to take questions, so feel free to head over there and post them. Want to know my favorite alien race? Or want to know the design philosophy behind the Rapid Shot feat? Hungry to know more about Threats of the Galaxy? Feel free to post your question there.

Star Wars RPG Coverage From GenCon 2007General Update
Posted by Moridin on 19 August 2007 at 03:52 PM General Update
GenCon is in full swing (and I'm posting this from my hotel room as I wait on my roommate to finish showering) and we have a little news and coverage about the Star Wars RPG.

First, check out Chris Thomasson's blog report from the Star Wars RPG/miniatures seminar for a good idea of what is going on with the Star Wars RPG in the near future. Then, I hope you enjoy this video blog I did from the show.

Star Wars RPG and Miniatures at Celebration IVWizards of the Coast Update
Posted by Moridin on 9 May 2007 at 11:59 PM Wizards of the Coast Update
I'll be attending the Celebration IV convention in sunny Los Angeles, California this year, and we're going to have a couple of panels that should be of interest to fans of the roleplaying game. Here is a bit more information on our panels, posted by Rob Watkins:
We have two scheduled time slots for forums at Celebration IV. I believe we are getting a 350 seat room with the capacity to do audiovisual presentations followed by question and answer sessions. One hour is a bit short as far as these things go, so I'll be likely to let the Star Wars Miniatures seminar go to around 4:25 pm.

Chris Gollaher of Lucas Licensing and myself are the returning representatives for these seminars. I am very excited that Rodney Thompson of Wizards of the Coast and Leland Chee of Lucas Licensing are slated to make their first appearances at our forums. Rodney will be leading the presentation and discussion during the Star Wars Saga Edition Role Playing Game seminar. Leland is in charge of continuity for the Star Wars universe. With the breadth of knowledge and expertise on the panel, I'm hoping that every question gets answered this time. In the past, I couldn't really answer questions like "When will we get to play a character of Yoda's race in an RPG?" But with Chris, Leland, and Rodney there you should get some kind of answer!

It isn't very often that we get to interface directly with our community, so please take the opportunity to let us know what you like, what you don't like, what you'd like to see, etc. Participating in these forums is a great way to influence the future course of Star Wars Miniatures and the Star Wars Saga Edition Role Playing Game.

Friday 4:30 pm - 4:30 pm - Star Wars Saga Role Playing Game

Star Wars Role Playing Game Saga Edition Seminar

Want the inside scoop on the brand new Star Wars Role Playing Saga Edition? Want to know some of the behind the scenes decision making which resulted in the current evolution of the Star Wars RPG? Join members of Wizards of the Coast Research and Development and Lucas Licensing to discuss current and upcoming releases of the Star Wars Role Playing Game Saga Edition.
Hope to see you there!

We're Back!HoloNet Update
Posted by Moridin on 18 April 2007 at 05:17 AM HoloNet Update
Well, after too long an outage, we're back. I'd like to thank Grayson Armage Bedar Shepard and Kris Eclipse Vanderwater for all their help in getting the site back up. I couldn't have done it without their help.

Anyways, after this little experience we'll be looking to do some upgrades to improve stability, so hopefully this won't happen again.
