Eta-2 Actis-class Jedi Interceptor
23 May 2005
Author: Moridin
Source: Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
Designed to improve upon the design concepts used in the creation of the previous Jedi starfighter, the Actis-class Interceptor gives the Jedi full maneuverability and speed to make the most of their pilots' incredible reflexes. Though boasting no shields and only a standard weapons suite, the Jedi Interceptor is quick, light, and more maneuverable than almost any other starfighter during the Clone Wars. Featuring twin collapsible wings and ion impulsion engines, the Actis-class interceptor is a formidable starfighter and a fitting predecessor to the mass-produced TIE fighters popularized by the Empire.
